Early Concepts. Big Possibilities.
Mountain Biking on Hudson Bay Mountain
Developing mountain biking at Hudson Bay Mountain Resort has been a long-term vision, and in recent years we've been able to finally begin taking meaningful steps toward making it a reality. In collaboration with trail designer Gavin Connor of G. Concepts Designs, we're excited to share that our draft development plan is now complete, submitted to the Provincial Government for review, and has been presented at a public forum for community input. We are still in the early stages of this project, and we're seeking community feedback on the overall concept. At this stage, the plan is preliminary and conceptual, ground-truthing and required surveys have not yet been completed. Our goal is to keep this process open and transparent, and we'll continue to share updates here and on our social media channels as the project progresses.

Looking Forward
What's next?
Once the government public consultation process wraps up, the Mountain Resorts branch will review the feedback with HBMR, and together we'll prioritize a list of items that need to be addressed. From there, we hope to receive conditional approval for the project and begin the process of gathering funding and completing the required surveys.
