Snow School Instructor Courses
Hudson Bay Mountain is proud to host Level 1 courses to help get you on the path to becoming a certified instructor. Check out the CSIA (ski) and CASI (snowboard) websites for info on who should take the courses, what you need and how to register. Dates: CASI (SNB) – Dec 19-21, 2025 casi-acms.com/courses/ CSIA (SKI) – Dec 12 – 14, 2025. snowpro.com/en/programs/certification All course participants receive the special price of $25.00 per day for their lift pass. Did you know that you could get high school credits for taking these courses?
These courses have been approved by the BC Ministry of Education as External Credential. High School students aged 15 and over can receive two credits towards their High School Diploma if they successfully complete a CSIA or CASI Level One course.
Snow School instructor courses
Hudson Bay Mountain is happy to host a variety of instructor certification courses as well as professional development sessions for instructors. We are proud to partner with the Canadian Ski Instructors Association (CSIA), Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI), and Canadian Adaptive Snowsports (CADS), in offering these courses and sessions.
This season we have the following certification courses coming up:
- December 11-13 CASI Level 1
- December 18-20 CSIA Level 1
- January 13-17 CSIA Level 2 Ski and Teach development modules
- January 14-17 CASI Level 2
- January 22-24 CADS Level 1
- January 28-29 CSIA Level 2 Exam
- February 10-15 CSIA Level 3 ski and teach development modules
Some of these courses have been approved by the BC Ministry of Education as External Credential. High School students aged 15 and over can receive two credits towards their High School Diploma if they successfully complete CSIA or CASI Level one and two courses.
