Early Concepts. Big Possibilities.
Mountain Biking on Hudson Bay Mountain
Developing mountain biking at Hudson Bay Mountain Resort has been a long-term vision, and in the past few years we’ve been able to finally begin taking meaningful steps toward making it a reality. In collaboration with trail designer Gavin Connor of G. Concepts Designs, we’re excited to share that our draft development plan is now complete, submitted to the Provincial Government for review, and has been presented at a public forum held on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025. We are still in the early stages of this project, and we’re seeking community feedback on the overall concept. At this stage, the plan is preliminary and conceptual, ground-truthing and required surveys have not yet been completed. Our goal is to keep this process open and transparent, and we will continue to share updates here and on our social media channels as the project progresses.

Looking Forward
What's next?
The government public consultation process will end June 26th, 2025. The Mountain Resorts will review the feedback with HBMR and we will prioritize and make a list of things that need to be addressed and/or done. From there we hope to get conditional approval for this project and start the process of gathering funding and completing required surveys.
