HBM LOCAL PARK.jpg
  • Our terrain park has been an established and beloved feature of Hudson Bay Mountain Resort since 2003. Decades of riders have shaped the terrain park into what it is now: An ever-evolving hub of experimentation, victory, and tenacity! Hudson Bay Mountain Resort extends a huge thank you to the dedicated team of volunteers and staff from Local Supply Co. who have worked tirelessly every season since 2003 to build something bigger, better, and braver than the last!

  • A unique variety of ramps, jumps, boxes and rails make up the majority of our terrain park builds. Jumps ranging from small to large are built at the first sign of packable snow. Every season, fresh new layouts are designed and implemented by skilled park technicians, with plenty opportunities to practice the basics, build up new skills, and discover new combos!

    1. Start Smart
Start small and work your way up, build your skills.

    2. Make A Plan
      For every feature, every time.

    3. Always Look
Before you drop and call your drop in. Make sure to inspect every feature before you hit it. Keep landings clear, if you fall or see someone fall block the feature off.

    4. Respect
The features, other users and the Park Crew staff.
Rail takeoffs are used to get onto the rail not as a separate jump.

    5. Take it Easy
Know your limit, keep within it.
If someone falls in a landing, clear the area as soon as possible or block the takeoff with an X if necessary.

    6. We’re Here to Help!
Please let a lift attendant or patrol member know of any injuries, or park features needing attention, and we will get things fixed ASAP!

Family-Friendly Fun

TUBE PARK

Built fresh from snow each winter, the HBMR Tube Park is one of our newest on-mountain experiences, designed for all ages and perfect for families, kids, and non-skiers alike. The Rug Rat carpet lift, installed in summer 2023, handles the uphill, maximizing laps while minimizing effort. The Tube Park officially opens on Family Day weekend and operates on weekends from 11:00am to 3:00pm, weather permitting, for the remainder of the season.
