Winter is right around the corner and it is time to get the kids outside and moving! Hudson Bay Mountain is now booking visits for the upcoming season and is looking forward to hosting your school.

With the Olympics showcasing here in B.C., it is the perfect opportunity to get the kids interested in, and excited about winter sports. Imagine your students being able to try firsthand some of the sports in which athletes from around the world will be competing.

Hudson Bay Mountain will be open five days a week, Wednesday through Sunday from November through February. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays are available for you to reserve your school visit, and school group pricing is available at huge savings, over 50% off regular prices. On top of that, we are offering 25% off group booking rates on your school’s 4th visit during the season. We would love to host your group’s educational day on the snow.

We are also open seven days a week in March to further accommodate school bookings. The following days, March 3-5, 15-19 and 22-26 are all currently available.

At Hudson Bay Mountain we strive to promote healthy living while giving our guests the chance to explore our mountain and create lasting memories. Once again we will be able to offer the pre-paid lunch program for participants. Participants and chaperones now have the option to sign up for a prepaid lunch making lunchtime more affordable and convenient.

Extensive upgrades to the road leading up to Hudson Bay Mountain have recently been completed which has made the drive safer and more pleasant. This season we are also proud to offer a Chaperone Orientation Day which we would like to run together with your School District. The purpose of this day is for chaperones and coordinators of the School District and Hudson Bay Mountain to have fun on the snow while familiarizing themselves with the policies and procedures regarding school trip safety. Tentative dates for these orientations are Dec 5, 12 and 19, 2009, with more dates available if needed.
